Ana de la Reguera and Ana Gasteyer Bio

Ana Kristina Gasteyer, an American actor and comedian from the United States. Her most recognizable part was that she appeared as a co-host of the NBC sketch comedy series Saturday Night Live, from 1997 until 2002. She has since starred in such sitcoms as ABC's Suburgatory TBS's People of Earth NBC's American Auto and the film Mean Girls. Gasteyer was studying of Northwestern University when she began her acting career. Her first course was a voice-major, then changed to theater studies following her participation in the college's Improv team. Her enthusiasm for comedy influenced her through several roles, including the submissive Sheila Shay in Suburgatory or the eccentric Karen Grisham on Lady Dynamite.
